Class Descriptions: *All participants that are new to The First Tee & at least 7 years of age must begin at the PLAYer Level*
Little Linksters: This class is an introduction to golf for ages 5 & 6. We ask a guardian stay during the class time.
PLAYer: This is the entry class for all new participants to The First Tee of Greater Wilmington 7 & older and current participants who have not certified out of PLAYer level. *Parents must attend orientation on first day of class *There will be a Teens Player class offered on Wednesdays for participants ages 11 and older.
Par: Once certification requirements are met for PLAYer, then participants can register for Par. Ages 9 & Older.
Birdie: Once certification requirements are met for Par, then participants can register. Ages 11 & Older.
These requirements for each level are mandated by The First Tee Home Office and no exceptions can be made.
Our chapter is one of many in The First Tee network. The First Tee is reaching young people in all 50 states and select international locations on golf courses, in elementary schools and through other youth-serving organizations.
